These round corner scrapers are the first in a series of Purpose Built scrapers designed specifically for chipping hard growth from the hulls and running gear of boats kept in the water. No more rusting, no more small sized grips that get lost in your glove and no more wimpy handles that were really designed for drywall mud.
Our New Wave Scrapers utilize our patent pending grip that is designed for use with a gloved hand and incorporates a "web wedge" that reduces fatigue in the thumb and forefinger by distributing the load on the web between them in the heaviest scrapping jobs. The robust hilt keeps the hand and fingers from sliding onto the blade. It's a high visibility safety yellow color so it stands out, even underwater.
The blades have rounded corners so they won't gouge fiberglass, bronze or nibral. The blades are fabricated from hardened 301 Stainless Steel and then brushed for years of trouble free use in one of the harshest environments. All hardware is Series 316. The Scrapers are available in 2", 4", or 6" blade widths. Perfect for in the water use as well as "On the Hard" at Boatyards and Marinas. Comes with a removable wrist lanyard to prevent loss.
