This anodized aluminum version which contains white Delrin (TM) sheaves is excellent for use on high performance racing dinghies, small cruisers and control line applications on larger boats. This block offers strong, high metal quality metal construction built to take the bumps and bruises associated with running rigging mounted near the deck or spars. 3 Series blocks use tough, hardcoat anodized aluminum cheeks with UV protected Delrin (TM) sheaves to withstand the elements and potential mishaps (like accidental gybes) far longer than other brands with standard plastic cheeks and sheaves.
