Navigation lights are certified as a housing/lens/bulb combination. The USCG only approves through third party testing, entire fixtures including the bulb. Change to any of those components with a part that is not original and the light is no longer certified. The bulbs that are offered are the direct replacements of Aqua Signal incandescent bulbs certified with the light.
